The story

Loka Tua was born from the desire to reinterpret one of Indonesia's most iconic processes: the Wet Hulled.

Thanks to the collaboration between Kali, LBF Group Italia, and Nicola from JYN Coffee Indonesia, this lot undergoes a controlled anaerobic fermentation with selected yeasts before following the traditional Wet Hulled process, a symbol of Flores' coffee culture. The result is a coffee that maintains the full-bodied structure typical of great Indonesian coffees, enriched by aromatic clarity and surprising complexity.

Loka Tua represents the perfect meeting between past and future: the strength of Indonesian tradition and the precision of the most modern fermentation techniques.

🤝 An international collaboration
These coffees are the result of the collaboration between Kali Natural Food, LBF Group Italia, and Nicola from JYN Coffee Indonesia, with a common goal: to bring unique micro-lots to Italy, directly valuing the work of the agricultural communities of Bajawa and narrating the authentic identity of one of the most fascinating territories in the world of coffee.
